This highly effective automatic parking solution is working with a method that is measuring and scanning the geometry of the cars while entering the tower. Doing so, the system utilizes the tapered shape of modern cars to array them as space-saving as possible.
After having parked the car in one of the entry- and exit-bays of the automatic parking solution, the dimensions of the car will be measured whereby the best storage position with the lowest waste of space for this car shape is being computed.

Then the patented car handling system that is working with robotic technologies will grab the car on its wheels and pull it into the high-speed elevator that is located in the center of the tower. During the process of the elevation the elevator will rotate around its axis. Arrived on that floor, the automatic parking robot will push the car out on the assigned slot. For the delivery of the car the system works in a reciprocal sequence and the car will already have the right direction when being moved onto one of the exit ramps.
The patented technique of the Skyline automatic parking solution is working without any pallets or additional turntables. In other automatic parking systems such pallets are used to carry the car and are stored together with the car. Such a pallet-system is working slow, is technically demanding and fragile for technical blackouts. Furthermore, pallet-systems are not the state-of-the-art for space consumption. The pallets have all the same dimensions.
The Skyline Automatic Parking Solution is working without such pallets. It is the only one taking advantage of the different sizes and shapes of the cars. Doing so, the system is faster, less fragile more efficient and reliable.
